Some of her specific strengths include her attentiveness to proceedings, courtesy to others in the courtroom, dignified manner and her fair treatment of pro se parties. She was also rated positively for ruling on motions and cases in a timely manner. In addition, Judge Clinton received positive ratings for her knowledge of the rules of procedure and evidence, and her knowledge of substantive law.
Experience & Education: Judge Clinton was appointed to the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court in 1999. Her prior work experience includes service as an assistant district attorney in Bernalillo County and several years in private practice, where she concentrated on criminal and juvenile law. She is actively involved in community and professional organizations. Judge Clinton received her undergraduate degree from New Mexico State University and her law degree from the University of Utah.
