Evaluation: Judge Olguin received positive ratings from all of the populations surveyed. The court staff rated the judge very highly for displaying a sense of fairness and for respecting all court employees. Attorneys and resource staff (e.g. law enforcement officers, social workers, etc.) rated Judge Olguin quite positively for being courteous to all participants, maintaining proper control over the proceedings, and for her dignified demeanor. However, Judge Olguin received somewhat lower ratings for being punctual in commencing proceedings and ruling on motions or cases in a timely manner after a hearing or trial. Judge Olguin indicated that she will continue to try to improve in these two areas.
