Evaluation: The results of Justice Bosson's evaluation are very positive overall. Justice Bosson was rated positively among attorneys for his knowledge of the law, for conducting himself in a manner free from impropriety, and for timeliness in making rulings and rendering decisions. Justice Bosson rated very highly with law clerks, staff attorneys, and non-attorney court staff on almost every attribute. He was also rated very highly by his fellow appellate judges and justices, as well as the trial court judges. The Commission has concluded that Justice Bosson's overall performance is commendable.

Experience & Education: Before joining the New Mexico Supreme Court, Justice Bosson served for over eight years on the New Mexico Court of Appeals and served as the Chief Judge in 2001-2002. He was successfully retained as a Court of Appeals Judge in the November 1996 election. He received his law degree from Georgetown University Law School and has been a continuous member of the New Mexico Bar in good standing since 1970. In 1998, Justice Bosson received a Masters Degree in Judicial Process from the University of Virginia School of Law. Justice Bosson has been active in the community, particularly in youth soccer.
