Evaluation: Judge Stephen Quinn was rated highly by attorneys for being courteous to all participants, demonstrating appropriate demeanor on the bench, being attentive to the proceedings, and for conducting himself in a manner free from arrogance. The court staff rated Judge Quinn highly; in fact, he received a perfect score for respecting court employees regardless of position. Resource staff (e.g., law enforcement, probation and parole officers, interpreters, etc.) also rated Judge Quinn positively in all areas.

Experience & Education: Judge Quinn was appointed to the bench in 1989 and elected in 1990. Prior to his appointment, he was in general private practice for over 15 years. He hears both criminal and civil cases. Judge Quinn graduated from Eastern New Mexico State University with a B.A. in English and the University of New Mexico Law School. His community involvement includes the Clovis Community Board, Methodist Choir, Teen Court Supporters and Wayland Baptist College.
