Evaluation: Judge Aragon received quite positive scores from both attorneys and non-attorneys. Among attorneys, she was rated highly for maintaining proper control over the proceedings, being attentive to the proceedings, and for being courteous to all participants. The court staff rated her highly for respecting all court employees, maintaining appropriate hours given the workload, and for displaying a sense of fairness, impartiality and justice. The resource staff (e.g. law enforcement officers, social workers, etc.) rated Judge Aragon well for maintaining proper control over the proceedings and for having a dignified demeanor. There were no specific areas of weakness or concern.

Experience & Education: Judge Aragon was appointed as a district court judge in March 2006 and elected in November 2006. She presides over a diversified docket and hears both civil and criminal cases. Judge Aragon has served as the presiding judge over the juvenile drug court and currently presides over the adult drug court. Prior to her appointment, she was in private practice. Judge Aragon received her undergraduate degree from New Mexico Highlands University and law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
